Another shoot with another amazing PUP! Ohhhh how I love Archie the greyhound. His expressions are priceless. He acts as if he is just so chill all the time, but I caught a few moments when he surprised us with the most precious expressions. This prompted "My humans according to Archie" and this was a hit. Gabriela and Jason had a lot of fun playing a little game of kickball. They said this was one of the things they love to do together. The weather wasn't very cooperative so we did an additional shoot right after her bridals. (no worries, he didn't see her dress) This shoot at the Nasher was so dreamy and romantic, unlike the fun pics with Archie and kicking the ball around. Those were fun pics but romance is always great during shoots. Gabriela and Jason have a sweet love of one another and it shows in their pics. This was my first engagement shoot at The Nasher Dallas and I can't wait to do more.
This was a spectacular bridal session. I had so much fun at Garden of the Gods and The Colorado Springs School. This was a wonderful opportunity to do images at amazing places with a view that is jaw dropping. I love to travel to see all the world has to offer, even though Texas is large enough to be a country itself. The view at Garden of the Gods was breath taking. I found my favorite spot to shoot and I called it "turtle mountain" It looked liek a turtle to me. They have official names for the mountains in the Garden of the Gods, but I prefer to go with the flow and call it how I see it. :) The history and intricate details at the Colorado Springs School was like walking back in time. The walls, the windows, just everything was amazing. Grace is a personal friend of my daughter and her family friends with me as well. It was such an honor to shoot her bridals, rehearsal and wedding during the week I was there. Grace met the love of her life while visiting another friend at the Air Force Academy and it was love forever. I had the pleasure of shooting the proposal as a surprise. I have no words for the sweetness that happened that afternoon. Being a part of it from start to finish was amazing and something I will remember always.
At the end I have some behind the scenes pics. It includes my daughter helping out her best friend, some bunnies, dad and mom make an appearance as well. Just some fun pics to show - it takes a small little village and some wildlife as well to make everything a small hint of a fairytale.
Behind the scenes fun!
This Beautiful Bride wanted something whimsical, vintage and fun and we found just the place. Hickory Street Annex! With it's exposed brick walls, open floor plan, bright sunny huge windows and the two level building with completely different ideas for shooting...how can you go wrong with this beautiful historic place. Did I mention it has a variety of small treasures outside as well. We had such an amazing time being silly, sassy, whitty and formal as well. we took so many pics it was hard to choose - so, I made her a bridal album. The tears was flowing as they truly were surprised and loved all of the pictures I chose. Heather has such a sweet soul and a kind heart as well. She is always smiling and her laugh can make anyone smile with joy. She is a true Christian who lives every day with the Lord in her heart. Beauty inside and out and you can see it in every picture. OH, one more thing :) I have added her dog into the first image because River couldn't be there on the day of the bridals. This is her bridal book.
What can I say about this engagement shoot? WONDERFUL and full of surprises. Casey and Randall were up for pretty much anything I threw at them. Not kidding, we stopped behind a gas station field to do some pics and Casey found a $20.00 in the middle of the field. I was at a loss for words as she danced around so excited. Then we stopped at a random wheat field on the side of the road at got the most romantic images as the sun set for the evening. (no wheat was harmed during this photo shoot) The Adriatica is a phenomenal place to do engagements, as it offers a variety of image options. We definitely took every opportunity to get everything we could. This was fun, exciting and a memorable shoot. LOVE this couple.
AND THE WINNER IS - CASEY WITH A FIND OF $20.00 IN THE FIELD :)
What a sassy puppy!!! I tell you, we had such an unforgettable time with River on this engagement shoot. This puppy has so much energy and sass!! Heather and Graham were such wonderful people to do a shoot with. I had so much fun because they were having fun! And can I say, the puppy kisses AMAZING! My favorite kind of shoots are with PUPPIES!!!! Furbabies are such a part of human life and every chance I get to do shoots with them are so wonderful. Take a look at the fun we had during the shoot at Arborhills Nature Preserve.
